Growing Herbs in Tidewater

Billi Parus will be sharing the best techniques to successfully grow herbs in the Tidewater area, both in the ground and in containers. She will include a list of the varieties that are best for Tidewater along with answer the "most-often-asked" questions regarding herbs. She will highlight some of the herbs being sold at the plant sale.

The Hampton Roads Community Foundation

Billi Parus' presentation on herbs is part of the Urban Gardener Lecture Series funded by the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, Norfolk, Virginia. The grant is made from the Julian Haden Gary and Margaret Savage Gary Fund to continue horticultural education programs at the Fred Heutte Center and to continue upgrades to our display gardens.
